Title: Dark blue thick pbt?
Post by: Moosecraft on Thu, 04 April 2013, 04:14:41: I recently saw someone post his LZ-xx keyboard on reddit/r/mechanicalkeyboards. It was sky blue and had dark blue keycaps. He said they were from IMSTO and were thick pbt. Are these still available in some way?

Yeah, I think the color of the board makes them seem darker than they are.

Yeah, I think the color of the board makes them seem darker than they are.

They're the same. My photo was taken outside in the sunlight, while his was probably taken indoors without a flash.
I've actually seen photos from people where they almost look white lol. Here's another photo of mine indoors and with a flash.

So in normal indoor light they are light blue?

Lighter sure, but they are much prettier and bluer than in esoomenona's photo imo. I'll see if I can get an accurate photo.

Keep in mind that photos will probably look different on your monitor than mine. FWIW, I was also worried they would be too light, but I'm very happy with them. They're a very pretty blue that's actually kinda hard to explain.

Agreed, but it's still nice to have as a reference even if the consonants are on the left and the vowels are on the right :)
