Hey guys, I just bought a CM QFR MX Blues unbranded, its a great little keyboard. I have some quirks with it though, mainly not having a break key, sys rq, etc. I'd also like to have more fn functionality. As such I've taken it upon myself to build a custom controller, it shouldn't be that difficult. I can build the PCB and write the software for the IC myself, I just have a few questions though.
Can I access the controller without voiding the warranty? As in, without removing the OK sticker on the back.
If not, could someone please upload a picture of the controller, IC side, close up, good res?
Does anyone know what the IC on the controller is? As in, part number.
I plan on doing some research about all this, keyboards and the USB interface, etc. and starting this project sometime soon.
Thanks, OC.

You are aware there is a Pause/Break key in the very top right of the keyboard right?

bpiphany already did most of the work for you. :D

Also, bpiphany is working on building them to hopefully go up for sale. There is a thread somewhere.
