wondering if anyone is selling a good video card
amd 7850 or gtx 660 and better ?
-
?
You can get a 7850 for $110 by selling the AMD bundle which includes Bioshock inf and Tombraider..
This is only possible within the next few weeks, because those games are BRAND SPANKING NEW...
I can assure you the bundle sells for a minimum of $50..
and the 7850 is usually around $160..
I wouldn't get the 660 simply because it doesn't ever come with any games that you can sell, and it is also $160...
Keep your eyes peeled for the 7850 at $160 from any tax free place for you amazon/egg

I have a lightly used GTX 580 if you want to make me an offer for it.
GTX 580 should outperform a GTX 660.

580 is not a good series to buy into "now"

What makes you say that?
If the price is right then there's no reason to not buy a 580, despite the fact that it's part of an older series.

I'm not sure if I'd want to use a card that needs more than twice as much power to get a few more frames (~125W 660 vs. 325W 580). The 580 only performs ~6-10% better than the 660.

Power isn't a big problem for most people, and if it's cheaper then i'd still choose the 580 over the 660.

Of course. It's a no brainer. Especially since a lightly used 580 will be cheaper than a 660, and will perform better.
