Hey Greystoke and anyone out there who likes skidata

There have been some in stock for months now. They didn't sell them all at that price.
There was one last HASRO in stock for more than 300€ and suddenly it disappeared. I don't know if he did sell it or he's just waiting to put it up for sale some day again.
-
If only it was US layout...
-
There was some US ISO keycaps only sold on taobao before anyone knew what it was from.
-
Okay... ANSI!

:D

That's simply an amazing keyboard.
-
So what's so great about this board?
-
Mostly people just like the keycaps colorway. It has clears, and some have a pretty ok trackball.
-
it is also super rare and hails from Germany. These are collectors items more than anything else, but i am sure someone out there uses it as their daily driver. I think 7-Bits avatar on Deskthority is one of these blue bastards.
Also the trackball is alluring for some input fetish folks. But take that with a grain of salt cause i see skidata boards go for hundreds of dollars without the trackball.
-
I only kept the keycaps and will put them on ISO 1800 winkeyless eventually. I might have kept the board if programming utility was available to make the top half have some usefulness.

I would be able to use them on a GH-60 :D

I use the one I bought from Ivan2 as my work keyboard. Sheer intimidation factor alone makes it my preferred choice. I've got most of a Wyse set on it now, as I bought it sans keycaps.
Not sure if it came stock this way, but it has Cherry MX Whites in the main key area, MX Blues for number pad, and MX Clears for the LED keys. MX Whites are rapidly becoming my favorite Cherry switches.

Edit: The trackball works under Windows 7, too.
