Nice, I'm going to own so many 60% boards...
They move the arrow keys on the FN layer? :( Looks like it has been moved to WASD? Not sure how I feel about that.
A fully programmable Poker w/ Clears might make me venture back into Cherry country.
damn.... for this price it is going to mess with the gh60 quite hard
(if it is fully programmable as they said)
blasphemy.

Probably pre-order, but they're on Taobao - http://s.taobao.com/search?q=poker+II&keyword=&commend=all&ssid=s5-e&search_type=item&atype=&tracelog=&sourceId=tb.index&rt=1366261415123&source=haiwaigou&pid=mm_14507416_2297358_8935934&unid=
Thin PBT (?) - ~$80
Thick Dye subs - ~$130
Will dye subs look like this can come with aluminum case? My guess is no, but it's coloredShow Image(http://imageshack.us/a/img853/139/dyesub.jpg)
Thick PBT for $80 is what brother Meat said in his post. This is official price for now.

I actually meant to type thick not thin. What I meant was there is Thick PBT for $80 and dye sub (probably thick pbt) for $130. What is that red case?
I haven't heard about anything from meat Brother about dye sub. There is a lot of rumor floating around so...
So I'm guessing KBC decided to go with someone other than Vortex to manufacture this bad boy?

What do you mean? There will be two new Pokers coming out. One with US ANSI layout and one with dedicated arrow keys just like Pure Pro.
I really like how on the original Poker you could lock the right winkey, menu, ctrl and shift to arrow keys.

I can't translate it, but all of the FN/PN stuff is on this page if you scroll down - http://item.taobao.com/item.htm?spm=a230r.1.14.55.4YdhTs&id=19984163292
I think some people will go crazy for this due to full LED backlighting.
I prefer a DIY keyboard, like the GH60, but some people just want a standard board.
I see they changed the base function layer a bit from the original Poker X. This layout makes a little more sense, but it might be tricky to transition if you have been on a Paker X for some time.

well the only reason why I would get a gh60 is the possibility of a bluetooth model because i would go with the standard poker layout anyway.
also the poker 2 also has a case for $80 :)
I think I will stick with my Poker X. I don't really need two Cherry 60% boards anyway. It does look nice though, especially because of the plate. I might just be convinced if the layout is good.
You all need at least 4 60% boards! One for home, work, travel and vacation house/cottage. Maybe even more needed!
All keys programmable?
Well that sounds very good :)
That's what it sounds like to me. It seems like the only thing this keyboard is missing is a mod-friendly plate. All keys programmable?

Hmm, I missed that part when I read it the first time.
So you could customize the layout to be the same as the Poker X layout (though with a differently placed fn key, that cannot be reprogrammed IIRC) and essentially end up with a plate mounted Poker for $80?

I think the plate allows for removable switches as well, based on the 2nd picture in here. You can see a small gap in the center of that switch area. Not really sure though because of the lighting. It looks like these guys are catching on :)

Can you attach the PDF here?
I read the user manual of Poker 2. You can customize the layout whatever way you want. But I don't think you could press fn+space and make the right shift/win/alt key to be the arrow keys like what you could do with Poker X.

There you go.

Thanks @ yicaoyimu
When you program a key or FN + key, you can only access it if you press the PN key + what you've programmed or you can toggle on the program layer lock with FN+RCTRL. As mentioned before, FN and PN key are not programmable, and it doesn't look like you can relocate it. I would not call this board fully programmable.
there should be a blank keycaps version available too, since it's programmable. thick pbt too of course!Either this, or they have a version that you can buy without keycaps ala WASD.

Do you know who is more excited than you? That guy who runs Patrick's Place - he still has a pile of PBT Poker cap sets.
Where can you get this when it comes out in May?

ok this is too good to be true. so... this is how i see it:
1. this will not come out in May for us, it may come out in May in China.
2. this feature list seems too perfect. something will fall through.
3. this will be sold on mechanicalkeyboards.com but only in whack LED/Switch combos that i will not want.
so i am thinking 2 out of the 3 listed above will be true. if there is one thing i have learned in my 30 years in the consumer market is if something is too good to be true it is because it is too good to be true.

The backlit are ABS, no? Someone might want to PBT.
Also, they might release a cheaper ABS version.
And right after I order my GH60.
Eh, not like they're likely to release a poker in dark grey with rainbow leds anyway. The time spent switch and led swapping would be more than building from scratch.

you got your hands on some dark greys?

I ordered them with the gh60, and if I got the poker2 I could preorder them from 7bit.
I am surprised that for $80 dollars this board comes with thick PBT keycaps.

So does choc mini, and it has quite a few extra keys!

so they added thick PBT keycaps, a plate, a programmable PCB, and the price didn't increase?
does anyone else think this doesnt make sense?!
i want this to be true. but i cannot deny that my bull**** alarm is going off. i mean i know they are kind of new to capitalism in China but...

Well probably $80 is true, but by the time it hits the US, there will be high markups because of middleman and shipping. Original poker could be bought at $60 outside of US, but by the time it makes it here, it was over $100 + shipping. So I have doubts poker2 will be below $120 out the door.
Simplicity works wonders. That low price will be very tempting for me once it's finally released..
This looks super nice, I just hope it'll come with browns. ^-^

First thing I would do if I got this, would be to replace the keycaps, they're fugly, especially that space bar, WTF?

I believe that's just a prototype. Easy man.
I like the simple yet nice revamp of the Poker II. If I hadn't tried the original poker and realized that I am such a stickler for some dedicated arrow keys, I'd be all over this.
Word for the Poker II is out, but what about the Poker/Pure Pro? that keyboard has had leaks and everything pour out, but only ISO has been released..:(
Only iso?

Pure PRO has been shipped! There are UK, DE, FR version in the first batch.

Doesn't look like it. Vortex posted a photo on their Facebook page yesterday saying that it was coming soon.
The not-so-good thing about the Poker 2 is that the arrow keys being move to wasd. Now fn+space will make your wasd to be arrow keys unlike on poker x does it on right control side.
Sad sad thing. I really need that when playing Dota :) But I'm typing on a Poker 2 now just received it!

Poker does both! How do you like the Poker 2 other than the layout? :)
What do you mean by Poker does both? Like it so much except for the arrow cluster thingy. This is my first 60% and I'm really loving it :)
R Win or L Win? ;o

Well I have L Win switched to L FN and I also have L Alt & L FN switched. What this means is that I can use either FN + WASD for arrows or use the right cluster from FN + Spacebar :)R Win or L Win? ;o
lol time to make more coffee :p
So... I didn't get a clear answer in the Simple Questions, Simple Answers... Is the Poker II programmable? :))
There is the PN lock mode though.
Btw, why would anyone want to put more than three LEDs in a keyboard?
