Without the wrist wrest it's roughly the size of a WASD V1

Odd size space bar... do not want.

It's like the Deck spacebar except Tt kept the mods at mostly 1.5. At least they aren't doing the bigass enter anymore.

My thoughts are exactly opposite. Some vendor has finally realized we need moar thumb modifiers.

I like the red. But that thing seems HUGE!

Nah, the G-UNIT is huge. This is just an ordinary full-size 'board with huge palm rest (like the 7G?).

and custom keycaps...? where are you going to find that space bar.

I think the intended audience wouldn't be interested in full replacements...

Case actually looks a lot like the WASD V1 keyboard...

I seriously hope that's not the official USA release layout. I would rather have standard sized mods for once on a gaming-oriented board.

inb4 mentions of the Trigger, QFR, etc

Same thing as with Filco Minila, Noppoo Choc Mini etc. Not that many people actually care about aftermarket keycaps. However, I'm worried this G1 will ship with the same kind of pooy keycaps as all G1s.

We only know 1 person who owns a Minila.

This must be one of the new products Artosis has been talking about on his stream.

& the pictures on newegg show a much more standard layout I reckon; http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16823162020

I really think this is the WASD v1 case painted red or made of red plastic.

Or, as Costar knows it, the Sydney. (http://www.costar.com.tw/index.php?option=com_flexicontent&view=items&cid=52%3Amechanical-keyboard-or-keyboard-moduleoemodm-&id=62%3Acst-104-sydney-&Itemid=87&lang=en)

The Prime Team bottom row is completely different from the Sydney.

If you really want a Thermaltake I'd get this, I think it just recently came out.  It's one of the few Costar made backlit keyboards.

Though ideally you should really wait for CM Storm XTL (Full Size Backlit)  :P

Really? Last I checked, Layout had nothing to do with the case.

Also, on the US release, it's a regular ANSI layout.

ProTip: No it's not completely different from the Sydney. It's a Sydney with minor modifications, well within scope. It's still the same damn controller, same case, same everything.

So hey yeah, it's a CST-104 Sydney and quit saying it isn't. Don't know what the official name for the illuminated Sydney is off the top of my head though. Haven't had my hands on the controller.

Yes it is the exact damn same casebody as WASD, Zibal60... maybe some other that use this Costar reference full size design. First picture in OP is Korean keyboard which have extra key for IME switching. No surprise it is available in US ANSI too.
I think the bold red casebody looks nice, but the pale red keycaps look crap.

I wish I was on gaming team, then would get all of team to complain and complain about keycaps until there was made production board with GMK doubleshots LOL.
