Title: MX Greens on my Pure
Post by: admiralvorian on Wed, 24 April 2013, 23:25:46: Started the mods I want for my Pure today - beginning with LED removal (desoldering is hard!) and installation of MX Green switches!

Next up - PBT caps and an aluminum case, if I can find one!

The difference between greens and blues is actually less subtle than I expected. I'm getting a finger workout for sure!

With some PBT caps, they are awesome. Like new-age Model M awesome.

I cannot say the same for the rest of the QFR, but the Greens are GRRRREAT!

Really? Buckling spring have anywhere from 60-80cN of actuation force though. Don't greens spec at 80cN? Where do you think a unicomp would fall from 60-80cN? Closer to a green or a blue MX with a black spring?
