Title: Ragnarok Online 2
Post by: VesperSAINT on Sat, 04 May 2013, 17:16:21
Just thought I could possibly start a Ragnarok Online 2 discussion thread because I played the first one since beta on and off, and defines my MMO experience. Luckily the game can be easily obtained through Steam so no more complicated installing :P

I haven't started playing yet but I'm currently downloading it. Any tips from people who already started?

Can't say much about Ragnarok Online 2 as I haven't touched it but I have a soft spot for RO as it was my first MMO <3

Happy grinding!

I'm planning on trying it out sometime, but what I've heard so far hasnt been good. Maybe its because it isnt that great, maybe its because its more of a korean MMO which typically doesnt appeal to American audiences.

It was definitely my first MMO too and ended up staying the only MMO I consistently stuck with because the others were all the same games as each other :\ I have a feeling this will also just be another WoW clone :(

Lol! How old again??? But I have to agree... those 24 hour sprees are no longer possible :( and yes... I've done that before on RO1.

I don't think that it doesn't appeal to the American audience (if that was the case, RO wouldn't have been as popular as it was) but more so that there are so many WoW clone MMO's out there that people never really stick. Hopefully this will be a different case :\
