So, are you getting that watch?  It appears that Woz has one: http://www.engadget.com/2008/06/13/video-woz-hacks-kathy-griffins-iphone/

I'm getting the 6-digit clock kit when it is back in stock.  I've wanted a nixie tube clock in my office forever.

The watch is cool...but I'm pretty good at destroying watches, so I don't typically invest too much money in them.

There's another nixie watch out there with a four digit display, IIRC.

But, nixies just aren't geeky enough for me.

They're just vacuum tubes with filaments in them.

I'll take a mechanical watch long before that - the level of precision required is amazing.

I used to use a lot of test equipment that used them for display.  (my time in the Air Force...late 80's and early 90's)

I've always thought they looked incredibly cool.

Oh, they do look incredibly cool, and I'll end up having a nixie clock somewhere some day, but I just find mechanical watches to be much, much geekier than a quartz watch with a couple nixies for a display. ;)
