Can we get an Insert Quotes button or have them auto-insert into the Quick Reply instead of having to click onto the Long Reply?

If you only need to quote from the same page of posts, you can just hit the quote button on each post and it'll populate the quick reply.

Why are there 2 multi-quote buttons for each post?

After reading your post, I refreshed this page and the second one went away. All is good now!

Your browser cached the style sheet.  Refresh will fix it.

Yes as alaric said, the old quote button has always done this.

Just found an error with multi quote.

Multi-quote/quick reply in one thread, went to another and clicked quote and the last thing I multi-quoted was in the text field.

So you did a multi-quote but didn't actually reply (used Quick Reply instead) and then "Quote" dumped stale data into the Quick Reply box?  I wasn't able to reproduce that.

I honestly don't know what I'm doing wrong. I hit "multi-quote", it then becomes highlighted, rinse repeat. I then go to hit reply and the the message box is empty.

It doesn't seem to work for me. What am I doing wrong? I was so excited but now I just feel dumb. lulz

It depends on cookies.  Do you have them enabled?

Sort of I guess. I have that section/slider on "medium" (IE).
So I am assuming one would need them enabled or fully enalbed to work this "multi-quote" system yes?
Or do I have that backwards?

I don't know why I asked, I could have just tried different settings, so I just did.

Whether I enable or disable ALL cookies I am unable to employ multi-quote.
Is it me somehow or is this computer not capable of sharing the gh love? Or is it something else?

Which reply button are you clicking after you make your selections?

Oh no, I bet this is where you make me look like a complete imbecile isn't it? LuLz

I've been using the one on the top, the one on the bottom, and the Quick Reply. I have tried every combination and setting that I can think of.

I'm nervous as to what you're going to say next. I bet it will be something like, "What, you never saw the glowing unicorn reply button in the middle of the post before?"

Sounds like you are doing it right.  You should use the highlighted button marked "reply" at the top or the bottom.  You are using Internet Explorer?

He's right. I just opened IE8 and tried it, and no-go.

You should make one of the news things: "Are you still using old ass IE? Update to a newer browser here." And the link goes to a page with links to google chrome, and etc.

Phew, and oh.  ='(
Yes, I'm using IE. I sheepishly snuck that in reply #14.
That's unlikey to change anytime soon though, fortunately/unfortunately.

LuLz, sorry.
Honestly, I didn't know this was a problem with my browser, I just always assume IE is the most widely used and I only seem to have major problems with Firefox and Chrome.

I tested on Chrome and Firefox on Linux. I doubt the OS matters.  You have cookies enabled?
