Title: Are these ALPS switches real?
Post by: fille3002 on Thu, 09 May 2013, 13:42:33
I'm not sure if these switches are real. They do have "ALPS" printed on them, but they also have the bars instead of the pins.
I'd say I'm completely lost here so I thought I'd ask some experts.
Any idea?

Yeah, they look real.   Check out the DT wiki (http://deskthority.net/wiki/Alps_CM)...looks like an ALPs bigfoot (could be complicated or simplified).

Those are definitely genuine. Note the ALPS branding on the lower half AND the 5C marking upper right. Should be complicated whites.
