So I have acquired a Magitronic K-156 keyboard and to my surprise it has Cherry MX Blues.
Needless to say I like this fact, but I am torn between keeping the keyboard as-is or harvesting it for switches, keycaps, and cherry stabilizers.
I need my fellow geekhacker's help in this decision. What should I do?
By the way....here are some pictures.

Personally I would harvest the switches from it. It is not that nice even by Dah Yang standards and only 2KRO.

In your pictures they seem to be a bit darker than other blues that I've seen. I'm not sure if this is the lighting or actually the case. If they are indeed a darker blue, people will pay through the nose for them for no apparent reason.

I think you have that the wrong way round. Older blues were lighter than the new ones, not darker.

There are also dark MX blues, as seen in Tinlong's EMERGENCY SALE.

Oh right. Never heard of them.. What's so special about them? Just the colour?
-
Yup, just the color.

These would be considered 'vintage blues' as for the much larger Cherry logo on the switch housing.
-
Which would, the dark blues or the ones in the OP's K-156?
-
Both the K-156 blues and the photo you posted are 'vintage'.

Interesting. Thanks.

Well it's already desoldered and the keycaps have already been cleaned.....just added the case and PCB to the pile I've got going. Now for the difficult decision....do I use them on the Poker I've been planning on or sell em? That will be for another thread.
Thanks for all the advice guys!
