Would you guys like me to write a review of an old and used keyboard, namely the Northgate Omnikey 101 I just got on eBay, or does the simple fact that it is nearly as old as my wife make the idea of reviewing it stupid? Another thing to consider is this keyboard isn't very easy to find because of it's IBM layout, so would it be worth my time to write a review or not?

What's wrong with reviewing an old keyboard? I'll note that I reviewed my 1993 1391401... (granted, mainly as the benchmark I was comparing the other keyboards to, but...)
It wouldn't be fair if it weren't in good working order, but otherwise? Why not?
That keyboard's got Alps whites, correct?
-
Yes, Alps whites.
I think I'd need to title it Legacy Review or something like that.

Hmm, I'll take note of this review...
The one keyboard I've got with Alps whites SUCKS. Horribly. But it COULD just be worn out... harder typing effort than most of my Model Ms, much less tactile feedback. Lots of noise, but it's just from the caps bottoming out, I think, not the keyboard actually clicking.
(And, even though I hate it, I really should add it to my sig...)

I read that on another thread, that sucks. None of the Alps switches I have are anything like that. My current daily keyboard has white Alps that are a dream to type on. It's my favorite switch on Earth.

It's my favorite switch on Earth.
For how long? ;)
But yeah, I think a review from any older keyboards are great! We still get to hear about keyswitches that we might be able to find in other boards, or we'll know what to keep an eye out for on ebay. Besides, there's only so many vintage keyboards out there that are worth rescuing. Eventually we will document them ALL

Ha!
Definitely don't hesitate to write a review. The more info we have, the better.
