Howdy guys, I'm gonna raffle off my clack. So, here is the deal, the clack is new, never used on a keyboard, so it's the whole shabang. It doesn't seem to go with my keyboard, so why not find the little guy a new home who will use him to the fullest!
RULES.
Alright, so the rules are pretty simple. If you buy a raffle ticket, you get a number assigned to you. 1-however many people decide to jump in. The more raffle tickets you buy, the more numbers you get which means a higher chance of winning. The winner will be picked with a random number generator. The screen will be captured while doing this so you guys can see for yourself who won. Your number/s will be assigned to you after you purchase the raffle tickets.
Prices.
1 Ticket - $2.50
2 Tickets - $4.00
Every ticket after 2 tickets will be $1.00 each. ex. You buy 3 tickets, it's 5 dollars, you buy 4 it's 6 dollars, and so fourth.
I'm not gonna post the paypal address or anything yet, I just wanna see if you guys are interested. Once this thread has some more posts, and you guys support me, I will officially start it. Depending on how many people decide to join in, will determine the final date. I don't want this going anymore than a week to be honest, so with that being said, let me know guys! Thanks.

Is it MX or Topre?
Either way, sounds fun and I'm in.
-
If it is MX I am in. Provided of course that not tons of people will be in on this.
People do not seem as fond of the mint gum/green as some of the other colors. I guess they are a little harder to match with some of the keycap sets people like to use. I love them though. To me these mint green ones and those purple ones are some of the best looking of the available colors.
Also, that is a great picture in the opening post. I need to get me a good camera.

Forgot to mention, it is MX. I'll let this go for a while. I wanna gain more interest.
-
interested.

So how do we buy tickets (ie send you money for the tickets)? How are you raffling (random number generator...)?
This is a cool, idea and I've thought of doing this before, but it seems like a lot of work.
-
You buy the amount of tickets you please, and depending on where you are, you will be assigned a set of numbers. So if you're the first one to buy a ticket, you'll be number one. If you buy 3 you'll be numbers 1, 2, and 3. And so on. And yep, once I've got all the entries in, I will use a random number generator to choose which number it is.
Yikes, forgot to add to this post you buy the tickets via paypal. It's in the OP

This is novel, but I have to disagree with the details of it. Raffles are usually for charity or some specific, where the infinite ceiling of entries means that the money is going to something the participants would want to give money to regardless. A raffle for profit is the seller being given money for having interesting items, and everyone except the winner pissing it away getting neither an item nor a donation to something they care about. If you want to call that gambling, go ahead, but with the constant hooplah around clack sales already, something like this just seems itching to cause a problem.
Maybe I have an issue with paying for the privilege of getting to try to buy something. YMMV.

I agree with this 100% If you do not like it sell it, if you want to do someone a favor then sell it at the price you bought it but seeing this post it seems to me you want to profit even more then a regular auction by providing an illusion that you can win it with just $2.50
We do not condone this if you want to sell or auction it by all means there's a sub forum for that, this on the other hand, no
