Hi everyone,
Really interested in picking up a Model M but they seem hard to come by over here.
Anyone in the UK interested in selling one? An SSK would be awesome but I won't get my hopes up.
Prefer an ANSI layout, just to make things trickier, but will consider ISO if its a good deal!
Alternatively, anyone know a seller in the UK?
Would have post this in the marketplace but it wouldn't let me ^^
Cheers,
Yslen

Gimme about a month and a half. I can ship you a ANSI M from Italy, after the move.

Have you tried http://www.keyboardco.com/ (http://www.keyboardco.com/)? They sell brand new Unicomps.

That's plan B, as they're ISO and almost £100.

Where have you asked already?
In my country I went to the electronic scrapeyards, public institutions that may got them in warehouses, schools, house of electronic enthusiasts, university, etc, and found a couple, but almost anywhere I went had tons of them a year ago, or tossed them away the past month week. I recommend you to go places, talk to people, and do it while you can, as they're rare, but they are becoming rarer.

Did you look on UK's eBay? I see more than a few. For example:

That's in the US. I've only seen one in the UK on there, which was very ISO and very expensive, about £130 ($200).
You can see why I'm asking, as that's about 3x what you guys over there pay.
I will keep an eye on eBay UK anyway though, thanks.

That's pretty dedicated!
I'm looking for ANSI though, and almost all boards used in the UK will have been ISO.
Tipo has made me a generous offer for an ANSI board. I'm hoping to get some pics of it but it might be exactly what I'm looking for.
