Title: Replacement screws for Poker case
Post by: tadbitnerdy on Tue, 14 May 2013, 11:01:29
Hi all!

I recently bought an aluminum poker case, but it didn't come with screws, and the screws for my original case are getting funky (rusting!).  Does anyone know the size/thread of these screws?  I'd like to find hex screws (takes and allen wrench/hex wrench).

Thanks!

You could try emailing somebody at KBC / Vortex? I haven't had luck in the past, getting actual replies for this kinda thing. Just in general.

Might have to get out a metric ruler, do some trial-and-error. Here (http://www.custompartnet.com/tap-size-chart) is a chart I've used.

Thanks dnix!

I went to Home Depot and Radio Shack today in the off chance that they have screws this size... and it was a major fail.  However, I might do a retap and use some MDPC screws I have from previous computer builds.

Thanks!

Mine is an aluminum case from the iMav GB and may be different but they are #2-56 screws.
