Title: Touchscreen Gaming Buttons
Post by: Rule16 on Wed, 15 May 2013, 21:35:30
Anyone know of anything like these steelseries ones? http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00AROMN8G/ref=cm_sw_r_an_am_ap_am_us?ie=UTF8
I don't want to get those because I need 4 and I'd have to buy two, so is there anything like this but with four buttons?

After looking at this, it actually looks like you might be able to build your own. Some sort of reusable adhesive+the rubber dome caps from inside some old keyboard. If you don't have an old keyboard, you can get something for like $5, and that's way less than this $20. As for the joystick...Maybe that one would be a bit more complicated.

Hmmm, aren't RDs these days conductive?  You need capacitive to work with a touch screen.

I think so, but an interesting idea either way... I'm sure I have an old rubber dome around somewhere.
