I like the switch illustration as art, but not the word *****. It feels too much like wearing a foam trucker's hat with a filthy saying on it.
Take that off, and I'd probably buy it. Otherwise, looks awesome.

Agreed. Like the front of the shirt, not keen on the back.

I like offending people, because I think people who get offended should be offended.

Agreed. I'm not sure that I'd wear it, even around my friends because the idea seems harsh, even with catchy line.I like offending people, because I think people who get offended should be offended.
that's not the issue with the shirt... I think everyone knows I am often lippy, so I know all about "offensive"
The issue with the shirt is, the curse word would conflict with our intended message to get people to switch to awesome keyboards.
It diminishes the impact of "make the switch", because now the reader thinks, why am I a *****, rather than why make the switch, EVEN if they're not offended, they are at least distracted from the core philosophy.

Could we also please discuss the shirt puddle issue. :D
What bugs me, ironically, is that it's "Make the switch. . . *****". The ellipses implies the speaker is hesitating, which makes it weirder for me. Even if it was Make the switch, ***** it would make more sense.
"*****" doesn't need to be on the shirt, I would say most keyboard enthusiasts aren't the kind of people who walk around knocking drinks out of people's hands and getting in fights for fun, and therefore aren't the types to wear potentially offensive T-Shirts.

Either way, no.
EDIT: I would wear the "$250" obama-poster cherry esc if it was screened onto a tee.

Hesitating and then saying... Biiiitch? (http://vimeo.com/39129233)
I love wearing offensive T-shirts. I'm not the kind of person who gets offended, and I think it's funny when people are so uptight that a word on a t-shirt gets them riled up.
I have to agree with Linus. This world needs less people who get offended, not more people who worry about offending people

But those type of T-shirts are supposed to be provocative -- this t-shirt isn't and that's why it's kind of awkward to have it on there.
It's like people who flip off the camera. I just don't get it.

Exactly. I'm not opposed to offending people, but there's a difference between attacking ignorance and trying to offend people by walking up to them and yelling swears in their face. This falls more into the latter category.
much better
It's offensive because Comic Sans.

it doesn't make any sense to say Make the switch, the context isn't clear from the first line...
Because you can't assume the audience would see both sides of the shirt...
The back should be something like.
Mechanical Keyboards!
Make the switch..
If you don't then .... you.
But the plain fact is that that's how the world is. I can take a joke and there are very few things that would get me offended, but not everybody is like that. Some people look for reasons to fight and argue, some people legitimately take offense for reasons beyond our understanding (IE: A woman who was beaten by her husband/father and called "*****" constantly takes offense to the shirt, even though that was never the intention.)
Bottom line is it's crude and unneccessary. It would be great if everybody was a little more laid back about stuff, I think it would make a lot of people's lives easier. It's human nature. Just because i'm that way doesn't mean everybody else is, and if you don't take offense to something that you know is potentially offensive, but say, wear, or do it anyways, then it's pretty clear you're doing it just to be a ****.
EDIT: Incidentally daerid you live in denver. Everybody is baked there anyways. Our cabbie tried to sell us weed a couple years ago when we were visiting, so It's not like you're walking around harlem with a WHITE POWER shirt on where you're likely to get shot stabbed or beaten.
Although I think there should be a comma instead of ellipsis...

they serve the same function... but yea, written, comma takes less space.

'menona I am honored... :D, though if that shirt were ever made, I could never wear it, because then it'd be pretentious..
