Just in case anyone is a fan of the WASD V1 keyboard (I liked it for no backlight / no detachable cable), you better snap up a backup (or two) now before the v2 is released.
Following is a reply I got from them recently:

Hi Ryan,
No, we will most likely be discontinuing the V1 keyboard unless we see a
lot of demand for it while the V2's are still available. Thank you.

I've been pretty bad at keeping up with what has been going on with production of the v2, last I heard was the delay back in April. Have they set a timeline of when they're hoping that the v2 is available?

I thought there website had said the v1 was pretty much discontinued a long time ago.
But yeah I don't think they ever planned on continuing to produce V1 once V2 is released.

Good thing I still have my V1 pcb around :)

WASD might have announced discontinuing the v1 a while back - I never saw it though. I have also not heard much recently about the v2 release, only that it will certainly not be until at least June.
Im bummed to see the v1 go. I was thinking I could _finally_ get me a cherry MX clear board, with no backlighting or detachable USB.

Did they ever make ones with PBT caps?
I've been very impressed by my Model M's keys and would like to get something as quality
