Title: IBM Model F XT vs. AT spacebar

For those who own both an XT and AT Model F, have you noticed any discrepancy between the stiffness / resistance of the spacebar between the two boards?

I'm asking because the spacebar on the XT I own is stiff to the point of causing my typing to become error prone, whereas the spacebar on the AT I own, while somewhat stiff, requires less force to the point of being usable.
