you can craft, emoticons, steam backgrounds, and badges and such with them
they also grant xp

My thoughts exactly. Although I have nothing against Steam, this card system just feels more like marketing than entertainment.

Anyone have an Axton they would part with? All I need for the BL2 set. Steam ID same as GH ID.
