Title: [WTS] Cherry G80-1000HDD from 1987 [Pic Update]

Hey guys,
60 posts done, to the marketplace we go!
Want to sell the G80-1000HDD in my signature. It's basically a pre-HAD. Received it about a week ago. German ISO layout. An interesting thing is that it does not have a date code yet. Inside, there's a stamp "18. Dez. 1987" Also, the case and build slightly differ from the regular G80-1000 (for example HFD, I have both at home, I will take a few pictures later). For instance, the PCB is glued to the upper part of the case which gives the whole construction a lot more stability, it has different rubber stoppers etc. The KB has black switches (with "small" cherry logo, they have the old black feeling nevertheless). It has no PC/AT switch as usual.

It's in excellent condition, you'd never believe that thing is more than 26 years old. I cleaned the case and keycaps carefully, it also smells like lemons now. Doubleshot keycaps are in good (letters) to new (TenKey) condition. I was joking about the lemon part. As good as new overall - pics when I'm home.

Price: 70€ + shipping (whole world possible, free shipping inside of Germany).

PS: Also gonna put the G80-1000HFD up for sale maybe in a week, have to repair it first. If someone is interested now, PM me, some switches are damaged.

price is not unreasonable; shipping is the killer. GLWS in or near Germany.

I would probably be interested if I knew the shipping wasn't going to kill me.

Well I guess you're right, thanks for the feedback. If only there were more local or national platforms like GH, that would be so awesome. It's hard to get rid of this old beauties for a usual GH price on other marketplaces, nobody pays such money for "some old rotten keyboard" - you know what I mean.

Sadly I looked for alternatives in the meantime and scored a Neo KB87 for 60 Euro, I like the raised switch design more than this
