The pink was kind of a cold pink. Not purple, but a bluish pink. In incandescent light it became warm pink, but I took those photos next to a window. The red is also a colder red.

o.o Pictures? Sounds intriguing. You mean like peacock feather green? That's usually implying bluish-green, as far as I know. Might be good if so. Just looks off with turquoise in my case.

Thank you, Lastpilot--I only tried to show how it looks in person, and it was not easy. It's a very nice color, from pale golden in dim indoor lighting to warm gold under sunlight. I have some warm white and amber LEDs that I can offer to go with it (that was my original plan for myself).
Thank you. I want to build it and keep it, but it'd be too extravagant for me at this time to have this as an extra (going to have 2 customs already). If no one bites for a while, I'll probably just assemble it as I like it (probably with light linear switches and full LEDs) and then list it again. I'd prefer not to though, as I'll probably get too attached at that point.

For some reason, when shipping to the UK, insurance is only available for the Priority Mail Express International tier, which costs $58.68 + $2.35 including insurance = $61.03 for insured shipping and 5-10 day delivery time. Then you'd also have some possible import tax, as full value would be indicated on the box. If you are willing to take risks, standard First Class International costs $33.39, but no insurance, but I would hate to be held accountable if the post decides to smash the box. This is why I'm trying to sell locally.

Only other thing of note is that there's 4% PayPal fee for Goods and also I'd look into your import taxes. I have a test sample--it's got no spacebar and only 1.25x modifiers, and no side-stemmed caps lock, only regular. I haven't listed it for sale though, as it was a gift :) Are you interested in it?
It doesn't feel right to, I'm sorry. Thankfully they don't cost much for a new set, and you'll get a spacebar with it too :) It is a very nice set, and I think your brother will like it!
I want to call it a steampunk keyboard, but it looks too modern for that in person. My goal was to have a very warm vintage-style glow in amber and warm white tones. I once saw someone's Pure with orange backlight and I think metal keycaps, and it stuck with me as something I wanted to experiment with in the future. Can't find the image now :( The gold aluminum is not as bright in person--just hard to photograph accurately.

The LZ Aluminum Skin keyboard is back on the market, now that assembly has been completed, everything's been tested, and I've found some good keycaps to go with it. Typing this post on it right now.
