Title: Wtb PCB mount Cherry stabilizers
Post by: Kayliss on Wed, 29 May 2013, 08:06:47
Found some thankyou :)

I am in need of 3-4 sets of PCB mount Cherry Stabilizers, enough for 3 TKL boards atleast. I don't need spacebar wires.

I'm located in Australia so someone who is willing to ship internationally would be appreciated.  :D

What determines pcb mounted cherry stabs' size? Only the wire?

They are built to mount into holes in the PCB versus on a plate. This is accomplished via four holes in the PCB surrounding that switch. Thus, a PCB mounted stabilizer will have four round appendages on the bottom. While a plate mounted one will just be a rectangle.

Now, now. Your opinion on stabilizers doesn't need to be put so harshly. There are those who love Costar stabilizers.

I don't think you understood me, or I don't understand you. I've got 6.25 wire for gh60 but it won't fit to my planned layout (or thats what I gathered) So I'm gonna be needing 6.0 spacebar.

Now the question is do I need anything else than the wire (6.0 from a g80-1800) to get 6.0 spacebar? Or do I need specific stabilizers?

The size of the wire is what changes the size of the entire stabilizer. Whether you're using the same stabilizer with a different wire on another PCB is determined by whether that PCB accepts PCB mounted stabilizers or not, if they're PCB mount that is. If they're plate mounted, then changing the wire to an appropriate size is all you need.
