returned my 3014 to dell after the horizontal line fiasco..
So.. I was waiting for the sharp 4k, it's only $5000, really not that much for 4k
But if this comes out first, and has decent color, I'll get this instead.. I think I might get 780 sli and sell my 7970 cfx.. Although I'm not totally sure on that because ATI has better video playback quality, and that's mostly what I use my computer for in terms of media..
I'm too old and pooped for gaming... I can't even play that stupid platformer with the rabbit and the flying fox thing without getting tired.

someone said somewhere that it's the same panel as the sharp, so. I doubt it'll be cheaper. LOL..
Just waiting for it to come on Amazon.. I honestly don't trust anywhere else to buy one of these since there are so many pixels that could die. :D

That'll probably be quite a while. According to the article, it should be around $4000 when they release it on the market. Don't blame you for waiting though, I'd do the same lol.

you can pick up 4k displays for less than that already
they are only artificially holding the prices high at the moment for all the old monitors, someone will drop a super cheap 4k on the market this year for sure amd a;ll of a sudden all the big companies will mysteriously have budget 4k's available

Waiting for the early-adopter tax to go away before I get a 4K monitor. Also 30+ inches is a little excessive, I'd be more interested in a 24-27 inch one.
