So, I snagged an Ortek MCK-84 from ebay recently and have had a chance to take a few (crappy) photos of it. I've yet to pull it apart for a good cleaning and have some ink stains to tend to. Otherwise, it's another ALPS addition. I'm starting to really like these boards. Between the SIIG Minitouch that I have and the old Apple M0116 that I scrounged up, I'm falling in love a bit.
Here is the complete imgur album of the board: http://imgur.com/a/wNB5n
I plan to clean it up and post some "after" photos as soon as I have the time. Lots going on this week for me, so this might take a few weeks before I can really give it the attention it needs.

Next up will be testing it and making sure it works all right. Then bugging my coworkers with some noisy ALPS!

Getting one made my minitouch rather obsolete!
You'll probably find that the blank key by left shift doesn't work... you'd need to desolder it (one leg!), straighten it's second leg, and solder it back in to get it working  Then it produces the normal ISO code for that position, which you could remap with autohotkey or whatever.

Were your caps on the Ortek doubleshots or dye sublimation? Or are they something else? Mine are not doubleshots for sure, but I'm kind of new to this keyboard thing and don't really know how to tell dye sublimation from other printing types that mimic it. They're certainly not pad printed, but I suppose they could be lasered or UV printed.

Doubleshots. Dye-sub has a very slightly blurred edge when viewed under magnification. I'd guess yours is lasered, but not 100% on that.

I'll second the lasered guess only because I know Alps dye-sub PBTs are rarer than hell. (Otherwise you know damn well I'd be a complicated white driver.)
That is one seriously sexy layout though. If I didn't live and die by the 6 cluster, I would be all over that.
