I was kinda dating the 3DConnexion mouses until I saw this one:
Axsotic 3d mouse (http://www.axsotic.com/overview.html)
Do you know anything about this guy fellas?
-
No, but it seems very interesting. Mainly just a trackball with a 3rd axis. Pretty simple, but could be very useful for 3D modelling.
-
Yeah, I've heard of it before.
Might be interesting to play Descent and Miner Wars with, if nothing else...but I probably wouldn't like it nearly as much for Independence War or Terminus because the rotational axes are more trackball-like than joystick-like. (Which, incidentally, is also what makes it more suited for the former two.)

Yes, pretty simple - I did liked the idea.
It's sad it's way uglier than anything I ever saw in therms of controllers.
But, still, I would like to try it to see how it works ...

I would like to have this, although from the looks of it I'm guessing it's not actually available.

It's not conceptual - but it seems kinda way expensive.

And hard to get. Their site doesn't mention anything about availability or pricing that I could see, so I guess the only way to get one is to contact them and ask.

Yes, that's why I think it's expensive.
It's like a custom made mouse.
