I'm pretty sure some of the item prices were increased recently as well to make up the difference.

the weird thing is, i bought a kb two weeks ago and i was charged shipping. now, i'm pretty sure the shipping should have been free (i could be wrong) but i did use paypal and it wouldn't be the first time i've lost an incentive when i've been transferred back to a site from pp to complete the transaction. anyway, i wrote mk so we'll see if i get refunded.

Nope. I didn't notice the price increases to offset the "free shipping" until recently.

Yes, they did bump up their prices $5 or so across the board.

Could be the result of a renegotiated UPS contract. MK.com has very thin margins as it is.

e: LOL Deck Frost Tactile, previously listed $199 now $207. It is a ploy, about the same price regardless. I would prefer $9 flat shipping instead of a built-in price hike. They probably did that because only insane idiots like us order multiple keyboards at once and they want to capitalize.

I would recommend asking for a custom quote whenever ordering keyboards (more than 1) because of this change.
