so it's basically a Christmas themed 9000 series with a CMStorm style win-lock? ;) "all i want for Christmas is my mini-usb plug not to rip off the board."

I like the "rise" case..
But I am Not all up for WIB setups, because theres too much plastic in the tubing, IN WHICH you can not clamp without the risk of cracking.
-
It's a Costar "Day2" which comes from Costar with the red/green two color system. Either that or it's a reverse engineered knockoff - the Day2's been around for at least a year now, and it would not surprise me if Newegg was stealing other people's work.
-
The article made it seem like it was fixed red/green in those locations. But yeah, saw Costar's example a few months back.

I think I just threw up a little in my mouth.....

An article on it including more pics of their new keyboards and a Rosewill Mini RK-9100 (TKL) keyboard.

As far as it seems it is also costar made just like the original rk9000 so more or less just a backlight version of that really. More interested in that neutron case really. Only hard to tell if it can have 2x 4 hdd racks side by side. If so it could be a rather nice home server case. Even if not still pretty good storage wise for many people with 4x 3TB drives.

The Mini RK-9100 has a gloss/semi-gloss case? :( That's one way to avoid people that want it for the case and switches ;)
-
The Mini RK-9100 appears to be a rebrand of Tex Keyboard. And it's aluminum casing on the outside.
Though didn't they already showcase RK-9200 last year? Are they just gonna keep showcasing it and never release it? (Look up Rosewill Helios RK-9200)
As for the red and green led I think that's sorta like the limitation with dual colour LED technology. Hopefully they'll be able to do either blue/white or blue/red later. Or just blue.... to be honestly I don't care about the other colours LOL.
-
Um no... The mini-9100 is the TKL, the Micro RK-9000 is the Tex.
Just look at the pics! http://blog.laptopmag.com/rosewill-new-mechanical-keyboards

Ahhh my bad, but I see how it is now. lol the Mini-9100 even has the same LED location as the Filco. But yeah I wonder why they go the glossy route.
Haven't they learn from Das and Razer not to use gloss surface? I mean even Razer has corrected that ever since.
