Title: WANT TO BUY an iPad

Any Geekhacker have an older iPad they want to sell, I'm interested.


It will be for web surfing/emails on wi-fi, so ram can be low and it can be first/second generation.

I ended up giving mine to a relative but if no one has one for you Apple has the refurb iPad mini's for $279 and refurb iPad 2's for $319.

Brah, WWDC is just around the corner. Price drops imminent!

Edit: Nevermind, I got it mixed up with late summer/fall iOS hardware releases. If you can wait til the next iPad release [most likely Fall] then do that.

Yea, thought I'd just see if a GH'er was gonna burn one off that is similar to what I'm looking for. I've found selling my personal stuff to be somewhat of a chore...I'm not very good at it. Figured some of you guys might be like me...and this would make it a bit easier and more fun. A degree of trust as well that may not be there from a blind Craigslist ad. LOL

I don't have any problems with IOS, it serves me well enough, but maybe I don't know what I'm missing :)

Alt this point I view it as a temporary-convenience purchase for casual web surf/email shizz, maybe loading batches of files (photos, docs, etc) to sort through at various convenient times. Obviously that could change in the future but I don't need to over purchase right now.

How is Texas treating you? I still consider Austin as a possible future home.

Texas is awesome, and Austin is a wonderful place to live. :)

I kept the Kinesis for a long time, but never could get completely used to it.  (And my RSI started improving)  I sold it a while back.  That  said, I did order a ErgoDox which arrives tomorrow... not sure why because I'm sure I'll have the same issues. :)
