fohat.digs came up with this idea after seeing banter about ages, he think that it would be interesting to take an age poll.
To totally protect privacy and make it more fun, fohat.digs propose making a "Who was president when you were born?" poll.
Have fun :)
-
how old am I supposed to know you are?
-
I thought the same thing and took a guess.
Are we supposed to say who was President when WE were born? :))
-
it's worded "Who was president when I was born?" because that's the question you ask yourself but i guess it was a little confusing there so its changed now

Thanks for the replies. Sorry for the confusion with the I/we thing.
I thought that this would be more interesting than simple years or decades.
I predict that Reagan will win by a wide margin.
-
****ing reagan
-
What about people born during Obama? Any 5 year olds out there? :p
-
I'm the only one in the Roosevelt era, huh?
-
So there are obviously some trolling on at least some of the submissions.

Well, he did 2 terms, so that helps. He won the election in 1980, my first one I was eligable to vote in. I voted for him, he won and I am batting 100% since that was the last time in my life I ever voted.

LBJ.

Glad to see you here. Did you learn to type on a manual?
I was afraid that we wouldn't have anybody born before or during WW2.
Let's see if anybody challenges you for supremacy.
PS - I expected the Kennedy contingent to be light, but not Eisenhower.

I was almost in the Kennedy era. My parents met when my mother brought a TV in for repair, so she could watch the televised memorial service. My father owned the TV repair shop.
I was born a year later.

That is a great story!

Since nobody has replaced him, I must assume Jefferson Davis is still president.

Did you mean to say "exact second?"
-
Presidents are sworn into office in January. So, unless you were born on one of the first few days in January, it would be the latter of the two Presidents.

Doesn't exactly apply to Roosevelt-Truman and Kennedy-Johnson, though.

Guess those people born in those "tragic" times will have to consult Wiki (for exact dates).

At the time, I was sixteen, and sitting next to my ailing, crying father, paralyzed in his hospital bed. Two months later, on December 23, my father also died, also "before his time"... He was 54.

Edit: Didn't even notice it was a poll because tapatalk.

Those aren't my presidents. :p
I was born when Rudolf Kirchschläger (1976-1986) was the President of Austria.
-
Maybe the title should be "Who was the US president when you were born?"
I was just looking for something a little more colorful than the usual "what year" or "what decade"?
So far, it looks like our single Roosevelt entry and single George W Bush entries are the oldest and youngest winners by default.

If I don't believe in the validity of the US Presidency, who do I put?
-
If I don't believe in the validity of the US Presidency, who do I put?
That would end up in a "Who was King/Queen of England when you were born" poll which wouldn't really give useful data. :P

Don't really know and care much about American presidents, but still voted. I was born during the reign of Elizabeth II if we're to talk British.
