Well, this is certainly interesting. Saw this on FB: https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.515943495140032.1073741826.241720585895659&type=3

Looks like thick PBT caps tho, woot

what on earth lol. Thats pretty unconventional heh.
-
Not sure about the practicality of it. I never tried using the 6-keys cluster with the right hand.
But surely a nice keyboard to show off. Most would probably do a second take and wonder if something is wrong with their eyesight.
-
you get the benefits of a 60% with the home block and arrow keys
-
Actually like this, something different introduced into the market for a change instead of the same old tkl.
-
Brings wasd cluster closer to mousepad. Might be more ergonomic that way.
-
Reminds me of the DSI left handed keyboard. Might be appealing to left handed ppl?

Have looked at this several times, always cry when my vision focuses on the enter key.

I think it's great. Reduces travel distance between mouse and most used keys (alphabet cluster), like a 60%, and doesn't sacrifice the other dedicated keys. It's also still completely compatible with any default tenkeyless keyset.
If that thing has the same build quality (and $100 price tag) of the KBT Oni, with the double sided PCB and all, along with the new thick cherry profile PBT keycaps, I'm completely sold.
Oh, and I also love the new sleeved cable.

Definitely nice to have the mouse and keyboard closer for right handed people or for gamers who don't want a 60% board. The only thing I don't like is how close the Pause/Break key is to the Esc key.
-
Actually, given that for right handed people the mouse is on the right-side and I prefer to center the keyboard while keep my mouse as close as possible.... this makes sense to me. But I like the aesthetic of a custom escape key in the top left which is something you would have to miss out on here

Phantom 2.0 ?
