How do you keep the seems from showing?

I saw pink the other day at Home Depot and wondered about doing this very thing. Good job! Better than I expected.

I don't even know, but I'm sure it could be done. You might just have to coat it in clear plastic.

Yes, Duck Tape leaves some nasty residue. Might be better to Plasti Dip and remove later to do another color.

I think there are ways to get the residue off. There are a number of things you can try, like vinegar or WD40.

The seams that you can see (this photo washed it out due to the color i guess, you can surely see some seams) add the the industrial visual appeal of using duct tape. And yes this will leave residue, but I picked up this QFR open-box for $50 so I figured I'd have a go.

Plasti-dip is my next step.
