Somebody is selling a bunch of terminal keyboards priced at 21 bucks include shipping.

If this is BS, then can be used for spares or daily driver, may need to teensy it.

Dirty as hell, but looks like a BS M to me.
-
That's a buckling spring M absolutely, yes. Rubber domes didn't get the two-piece keycaps.
Mechanical is usable as spare, but they're POS keyboards - not AT. No idea if you could do a controller swap without knowing the models, but usually yes.
-
You're not looking for spare left alt caps, right? Because the board pictured does not have a left alt cap, and as such would be an unreliable source of some.
I guess you could use the right alt as a left alt, but that's kinda sketchy.
-
Controls and Alts are the same and will interchange.
At that price, it is less than the $30 most places charge for a set of key caps alone, even if they are missing a few.

My post was mostly a joke, figured the last part about not using the right alt would give it away. Probably good to clarify for people new to model m caps though.
But yeah, the price look fair for spare springs, caps, and case even if you can't get it working.

Oops, didn't notice it without the sarcasm switch.
A Model M delivered in the low-$20 range is a good price for anybody who needs a pile of parts. I would not bother trying to convert a terminal to a daily driver unless there was some other compelling reason, such as putting a Model F into regular service.
However, with all the projects going on such as chopping and bolt-modding, I can see things like cases, plates, and springs having value for experimentation and replacement.
Also, a nearly-complete set of keys might come in handy for RIT dyeing projects and interesting color enhancements.

Oh gods no. Totally disagreed, especially on the POS boards. When they're the POS controller with the M matrix it literally is trivial to use them on a PC. You disconnect the matrixes, swap in a PC controller board, reconnect the matrixes and that's it. (Okay, and use the SDL to PS2 cable instead.) Also, some later POS boards actually speak AT over RJ45 - so it's just an RJ45->DIN6 connector adapt - but I can't even identify them by PN. :(
