Title: Samsung 840 Pro 256GB 2.5" SATA III Solid State Drive (SSD) - MZ-7PD256BW - $192

http://www.rakuten.com/prod/samsung-840-pro-256gb-2-5-sata-iii-solid-state-drive-ssd/242299158.html

$192 after instant $45 rebate at checkout. Limit one promo code per order.

I recommend using Paypal or a virtual CC number (like BofA has) when purchasing from Rakuten.com as there have been reports of people getting their CC numbers stolen.

Create a system image (Windows 7/8), and restore that to the new SSD.

If they are the same size, you can just use DD. I recommend to specify the blocksize to make it go faster, though.

I mostly clone everything with gparted. It's important to make sure the partition is aligned to MiB and there are still cloning tools that don't do this. Without that you get really terrible performance and loads of write amplification.
I didn't get this deal, but I did catch deal today on new seagate ssd 240GB for $209 with a free seagate 2TB spinner on newegg this morning.
