I think so. They basically just close the connection between the pins. Some have a lever and or roller on top which aren't needed for any mice I have seen. I have used the linked ones in my MX500. Before that, I ripped one from another mouse and my MX500 is still alive and well.

Edit: I was in no hurry when I got the ones linked above. They have free shipping and the switches themselves are dirt cheap, but the delivery time is kind of long. You may be able to get them faster locally.

Most of them use Omron switches (chinese and  japonese) on left/right buttons and TTC on side buttons. I saw other brand in my Taipan (dpi buttons) but I don't remember the name.

The wheel's switch can be different. You need to open and check it.

If you read on the side, what letters does it say for the pins? Something like C, NO and NC?

Use some good ones if you don't want it to break again. Cherry DG2 or Omron D2F-01F if you like something lighter to press.
If you don't really care all that much I have some Omron something or rather that I pulled out of a logitech when I put in some D2F-01F you can have if you need.
