Title: Greetings from the land of G+
Post by: esr on Mon, 24 June 2013, 01:42:08
Earlier today (before learning of geekhack.org) I started a "Keyboards with crunch" community on Google+.

I'm a long-time model M fan.  Old-school hacker.  Some of you will recognize my name.  Currently rocking a basic black Unicomp USB keyboard, the trackball variant.

Hide your women and children, most importantly your wallet. This place is cursed.

Can you get RMS to join? :D I met him a few times as a grad student (what am I talking about, I'm _still_ a grad student... grumble), but all before I started helping out with this place.

I know for a fact that he loves his HHKB ;)

You will also be happy to know (as I'm sure you've already seen) that we heavily encourage everyone to FOSH/S their designs and code.

anyway, HUGE WELCOME!

Wow!  Welcome to the forum, it's great to have you.  As a kid I spent a lot of time poring over my local library's copy of the Hacker's Dictionary.  Thanks for introducing me to hacker culture before I knew any real hackers.
