I've been using photobucket but it has a bandwidth limit of 10G a month.
What's a good free website I could use to host images? flickr?
Imgur has a 2mb limit per picture I think.

I use imgur, I used to use flickr but they took away my free pro account. I left them but they knew better since a lot of people starting using other services so now they offer 1TB of space. I might go back to them at a later point in time but for now I am a fan of imgur and the simplicity of it

cool. testing imgur:

imgur; the simple image sharer.

imgur for reddit. They do have a crappy limit though, and I'll be damned if I'm paying for a otherwise free service.

I meant host images as in for using in forums/online. Can't directly link from my HDD now can I? :-[

If you have a server...
I've quite recently switched from Picasa to imgur.

Another imgur user here.
I noticed that a lot of GHers seemed to use it, so I tried, and it Just Works.

I always use imgur.
-
I use tinypic :D
-
I usually just resize and save with lower quality and let the forum host it.
Otherwise I've been using imgur for a while , occasionally I'll use photobucket if imgur isn't co-operating.

I always use imgur.
Same here, i found this one the best!

Imgur. If imgur is down, I use min.us.
If you ever use Pixlr (online photoshop), they have a decent one called imm.io, but if the photo isn't viewed for 30 days, it's deleted.

imgur user for about 2 years now

imgur and sadpanda

I use minus for most of my GH posts. I like it because it doesn't really have a cap on file sizes and doesn't reprocess/downrez your files, either - it just serves up full-size/full quality images, and I've never encountered a bandwidth limit for it either. I also have a flickr pro account, which does a nice job, but I don't really use it for keyboard stuff.

dropbox/my own domain space w/hostgator
If you NEED some space of your own I wouldn't mind renting some out for le-cheap

I am on board the imgur bus as well.
Simple, easy to use, and I am used to editing all of the photos so the limitation hasn't presented a problems for me so far. I might go for something else if anything presents itself but for now imgur will work beautifully.

imgur
so simple and fast

I just uploaded a few images without logging in in imgur. Does this mean imgur allows random uploads of anything??

yup, I think that's how most people use it (i.e. Redditors posting reposts)

I prefer to keep mine in my album? Account? Whatever, then I can link back to them if I need to.

pbase.com
There are hundreds now:

I too use imgur but sometimes the site is super slow and it doesn't like big images files.
-
Imgur also deletes photos that haven't been viewed in 6 months. Not sure if this applies to albums or not......
-
I am using Imgur and pretty happy about it. Have not had the issue of them deleting photo's, if that would happen I would switch to another service. One thing I like is that with the app on my phone I can directly upload them to my imgur account, which is handy for both backing up photo's (should really check whether the quality remains the same) and for sharing photos with people online.
