Title: Unicomp trackball IBM
Post by: elmomax on Fri, 29 August 2008, 13:03:47
Maybe this sounds like a lame question, but figured I would ask it anyway. If one has a Unicomp IBM trackball keyboard, can you still use your own mouse? Do you need to do anything special to be able to do so beyond plug in your own mouse to the usb port.

Thanks

Short answer, yes.

You can have both active if you'd like and use which ever one suits you at the time.

It's true.  I have a wired mouse constantly connected to the PS/2 port for when my wireless mouse battery dies.

I have the original Ibm model m5-2 and it works fine with the mouse in the usb port.
