I have a ibm model f xt keyboard that didnt come with a cable, is there anyone that can tell the pinout on the 14 pin connector on the keyboard controller?
-
I don't have it on me, but when I get home, I'll open up my XT and check for you if you don't have your answer before then.

IDK either, but
- whatever is connected to the case is ground
- whatever is connected to a capacitor connected on the other side to ground is +5V
- the remaining two can we swapped without damage (i.e. you have to check two combinations)

This (http://geekhack.org/index.php?topic=17458.msg616567#msg616567) should help. All of the connections are on the top row of pins.

Thanks guys for the replys, before i came back on here to check i did what mich said. I knew what the ground and 5v lines were so i picked the other 2 for the data and clock.
