Hello!
My name is Byungho Kim. I am a S.Korean, but have been living in Toronto for few months.
I used to type for long time for linving, and the job gave serious problem to my fingers.
Therefore, I am looking for a keyboard which suits for me and will be able to relieve the pain.
I even made few custom-made keyboards to find the one.
Now, i am settling down with KingSaver with the following combinations.
- Keycaps : Wang 724
- Switches : Matias non-click sliver
- Housing : Aluminum(CNC machining)
- Frame : SUS 1.5T
- Circuit Board : Atmega32u4 with customized F/W by myself.
Of cause, I don't think i found the one, but i really like it so far.
I would like to meet many Alps mania in Geekhack and learn more about Alps from them.
Thanks!

Welcome! I really love Alps as well. If you look in my signature, we're starting to work on a custom TKL Alps board on GH as well. I currently and working on my own custom Alps board that I've named the Tofu101. And I have some Matias switches on the way.
What switches do you like?

Akimbo probably qualifies as an Alps maniac. Hopefully he'll come in here and talk shop with you. :)
I've tried clicky green XMs (liked then), linear black Alps (didn't like them), white XMs (hated them), and Monterey blues (love them).

Thank you for the greetings.
I checked Tofu101, and it is an amazing work.
I am sure it couldn't be done without a deep enthusiasm.
My favorite Alps switch is the pink with perfect lubricant, but i am enjoying Matias's quite switch now.
Because, it is easy to get and has good features.

The tactile pro switches are my favorite Matias switches. Thank you for your kind words on the Tofu101...it's a work in progress. I will get around to finishing it all soon :D

The kingsaver is beautiful! As CPT has already mentioned we're trying to make something similar with our TKL Alps project which can be found here. (http://geekhack.org/index.php?topic=44576.0)
Welcome to Geekhack. Enjoy your stay! :D

There is also a GH60 Alps variant with info here (http://geekhack.org/index.php?topic=41461.0). I'm pretty sure Komar said he's going to work on that and release a PCB design soon.

Thank you for the information. I didn't expect this many varieties of projects in Geekhack.
I feel like Geekhack is a huge community.
BTW, If you are interested in an alps mini keyboard please refer to the following links

I'm curious, where did you order the Matias switches?:0
I am looking for a small 60% alps board but doesn't seem like there is any except for the planned komar gh60 lol..
