Just spotted this on eBay: http://cgi.ebay.com/Best-Mechanical-Keyboard-G-Power-101-Cherry-keyswtich_W0QQitemZ300255615241QQcmdZViewItemQQssPageNameZRSS:B:SRCH:US:101
According to the seller it's "the best and beautiful Cherry MX mechanical keyboard you need". It might be interesting to someone here :)
It comes with any of the 3 variants of the Cherry MX switches and it features 18-key rollover, but it does seem to lack a decent build quality looking at these shots: http://www.flickr.com/photos/fridy/sets/72157604833610952/

The keyboard's design looks very familiar :|. The build quality there does look suspect; it looks like a snap-together design that hasn't been closed properly. Still, the price isn't too bad for the features.

It looks exactly like the TP2. But one with cherry browns? I may have found nirvana, even if the plastic is cheap. I've seen that model number before (from the flickr album) "SMK-Power989".

Can someone say, Strongman? Does anybody have their current address? The one in my bookmarks strong-man DOT com DOT tw does not work

I have no idea if this is supposed to be their current server.
Edit: Does this mean the Matias TP2 is a Strong Man OEM product (or am I just the last one to get it)?

While speaking of OEM, did anybody open their Das III? I wonder what it says inside. Being made in Taiwan.
-
OK people, who's buying one of these?

I don't even wanna ask what that's for.

I don't quite get the ebay auction. The link appears that it is an auction (no BIN) for one keyboard, but the description reads like I should be able to buy it off the "shelf."
-
And the fact the seller has 4 feedback and no other items makes it feel a bit more iffy.

Quite innocent. It's a keycap puller. Apparently for those who aren't into mutilating paper clips.

I have 2 like it - they don't work on Alps or Topre because they are both too tight, but for BS and Cherry and the rest they work fine.

Which one doesn't work on Alps or Topre? The paper clip or the molded tool in the picture?
I use the paper clip tool on Alps switches all the time (lots of old Apple keyboards at home!) and they work. Granted, my finger gets pretty sore after pulling 100+ key caps.

The key-puller ring deal. I made one for Alps and Topre out of paperclips and duct tape. I keep it real!
