So did BL2 sales just not do as well as the original?  Seems sale prices went down faster and happen more frequently than BL1 did at the same age.

I don't know. Bl2 is a much better game, in my opinion, especially where the enemy AI is concerned.

I'm going to use this to help convince my friend to finally got BL2. Hope it works!

Yeah, it was a pretty limited time deal :<

You can always have your friend wait for the Steam Summer Sale though, that should be coming up soon and I imagine BL2 will probably go on sale and will be similarly priced.
