Title: Greetings Geeks!
Post by: pwolfe on Tue, 02 July 2013, 08:25:45
Hi Geekhack.  I'm new here, but not new to mechanicals.  Always preferred and used them, just never really knew this community existed.  Stumbled here while researching a new Keyboard (settled on a pure - in the mail).

Anyways, learning a lot just from lurking, looking forward to getting to know the community.

I'm already having a hard time fighting the urge to put this kb in a nice metal case.

And get it a new set of caps, or sets. And a new cable, or cables. And some pretty metal caps which would look good with the LEDs :))

I have extensive experience sleeving cables from pc builds.  Some of my work is on xtremesystems under my name.  I'll be doing a sleeve job almost immediately as I do with all my tech gadgets.

As far as keys go, I like the look of the stock pures, was one reason I bought it.  We'll see how it feels though.

I'm definitely on the hunt for some mac modifiers that appeal to me.  I don't care for the look of the printing done over at wasd though.  I'll just have to dig more and keep my eyes peeled.  I started a thread about it, we'll see if someone pipes up with a great solution.

Thanks for the welcomes!
