Starting at $650 and Buy It Now for $2,000
Here (http://www.ebay.com/itm/Cherry-G80-5000-HPMUS-/271239052138?pt=PCA_Mice_Trackballs&hash=item3f271b7b6a) is your chance for one of the most coveted boards!
-
Only a casual $2,000. I want Crystals in my 2K boards though.

how is this great find?

Is it me or when you look at that keyboard, it looks like a butt... of a very bad [design] joke. I wouldn't want that on my desk even if it were $5.

I dunno if the market crashed on the G80-5000 HPMUS, but $650 would've been a great find back when the market was hot. It might still be. I think ivanivanovich is our resident Cherry expert now, maybe he knows. Even $2000 would've been a good price, since these used to go for around $2500 (USD).

how is this great find?
Because it's the rare ansi version.
-
one recently went for around 150 euros.
so this is clearly a ripoff

Depends on who's buying. ANSI G80-5000 are hard to come by

To the people talking about the high price point:
I posted this because it is a rare board, and I have not seen one before. I don't really know what a fair price is for this board, but I do agree $2,000 is too high. However, the board is also auctioning for $650 start price. If you are interested in the board at this price point, good for you. If not, don't. Feel free to discuss the price point, but it is coveted board that might be worth it to the right buyer.
