I just got a newsletter from EK saying it's available on amazon for $170 shipped. The cheapest Topre prior to this one was a FC660C for $200 shipped. Good price for a topre keyboard.
Although, I do find it odd that it's available only through EK's amazon rather than directly from EK, since I know amazon has fees for merchants.

I heard the build quality was very minimal for the Type Heaven, the FC660C seems to still be the better buy.
I forgot where I read the review, but the price difference does have its reasons.

There's a review somewhere? I have an itch to pick one up to just see how it is, but I probably won't give in this time since I already own a topre. I'm more interested in the internals than exterior stuff. I do remember reading from a comment that it's an authentic topre, so the actual electronics shouldn't be poor quality.

I forgot where I read my review, but after a quick google

The review I read was from the consumer end, it feels cheap, but in the end it is still topre

funny that a MSRP $170 keyboard feels cheap
Hope that isn't the case for first time Topre consumers.

I think the quality will be the same level as the leopold F660c but ABS caps. They are both made in China probably by the same manufacturer. I think it should be a nice entry level Topre keyboard. If more Topre products are out there maybe it might stimulate other aftermarket items like a more keycaps and stuff.
