- Anything involved with soldering will be with my soldering tip collection, Hakko FX 888, soldering marker, fine tipped soldering tweezers, two methods of desoldering (desoldering iron, and solder sucker pump)
- My soldering experience consists of the following: Customizing two KBT Pures with complete stem/LED swaps, Rebuilding/Modding a Leopold FC700R to ergo clears, rebuilding a Filco TKL into a WFD custom plate, rebuilding an CM QFR into a custom plate, assembly ErgoDox (SMDs), LZ-GH, GON 60%, GON 75%, MX Mini, Phantom, and repairing/replacing bad switches on various boards.

Congratulations on launching a customization business. I have a feeling you're going to be swamped with orders by the week end. ;D

Awesome sauce!

Would you happen to know how to program a a87?

Nope, I have not had my hands on a board with an a87 on it yet. On my to-do list is figure out how to program a Phantom (I can flash firmware quite easily), and possibly the controller in the LZ-GH. I have a ton of programmer friends and plan to tap into their brains :p

usb or ps2?
I posted a bunch of info in this thread a while back and never saw a responce from anyone providing feedback on if they were successful or not.

congrats on starting your service here Daniel! :)

Sorry to hijack thread, programming a.87 as long as you can get it into bootloader mode yourself is relatively easy... unless getting it to bootloader is the problem you're having.
But anyway, grats daniel. Hope you get busy soon ^_^

I have a QFR stealth with MX Blues I'd like swapped out for MX Clears (I have PCB mounted ones so they'd need to be modified) and my new Universal Plate. I'd also like the lubed and stickered and 62g Springs swapped in for them. I have all the parts (except for lube). PM me pricing, timeline and I'm sure we can work something out.

I am one keyboard away from being caught up and ready for more orders. Send me a PM for a quote if you want to get on the waiting list. Next week I should be taking on new orders a couple at a time.

What's your turn around time?

Hey, Daniel, that's cool that you're starting this. Especially since I'm right down Alafaya from you! :p

What's your turn around time?
It was pretty bad on all my recent orders I won't lie, months. However I took on more orders than I should have at once, and was delayed on some parts arriving, then school and real life, and the holidays made everything get wonky.
However now I'm only going to take two jobs at a time and hope to turn them around in one week, or two max. Easier jobs will be faster of course, say just stem/spring/lube some switches as compared to stem/spring/sticker/lube switches to solder to a PCB with SMD diodes surface mount resistors and LEDs. I am not fast, but I am thorough and try to do a really good job. To me building keyboards and tuning is therapeutic like building LEGO.
