I am currently wielding a keyboard with green switches, which are even stiffer than the black ones.good, though medium is 80g is stiff,
I hate 'em except for my model F.Model F very stiffer in spacebar true or not?
Tried green / white / grey...yes grey is stiffer over white and green
Preferred clears and panda-clears over greys but preferred greens and whites over blues!

any which have super black :))
any which have super black :))Super Blacks are on par with the ballpoint pen spring mod, so a ghetto Super Black can be had. However they are extremely stiff and no keyboard was ever designed to have more than a few (my 2100 has 3).

Super Blacks exist. I tried one on a G80-5000. They have like 120 cN of actuation force. They're hard to find and way way way too heavy.yes, on cherry ergoplus
My favorite MX switches are the heavier ones: MX Greens, Whites, and Blues (not heavy I know). Blacks are pretty nice too. And I love the Model M and F switches as well.
yes, super black for spacebar dark grey or grey switch :Dany which have super black :))
Dark Grey I think.
MY are the best because they're light if you like light, but then they get really stiff if you like that.thank your info before
120g peak force of 30g:eek:
How do you call a MX Brown stem with a MX Black spring?Shi#tyPanda?
How do you call a MX Brown stem with a MX Black spring?Smeagol Brown maybe :))
But brown stems aren't clears
But brown stems aren't clears
Yes, and the Ghetto Green use a blue stem.

I've made mx red(super red):)) with ballpoint spring but they(spring) very long for cherry MX
and finally I cut and but, they are not consistent and easily broken (shattered)

Dis guy:what your keyboard modded? whether with stiff switch?Show Image(http://i.imgur.com/4oXUaAB.jpg)
I haven't done the ballpoint mod myself, but I have one on a modded keyboard.
My Pure has Red and Blacks with Clear springs in them (what I call Ghost Reds and Ghost Blacks). Does that count as heavy?maybe not, blacks is 60g but 80g peak force

Well they are considerably stiffer than Blacks.
what spring clear stiffer than spring blacks?
clear has peak activation force 55g and blacks is 60g
I'm typing on Blacks/Reds with Clear springs in them (I call them Ghost Blacks/Reds) and have a keyboard with Blacks right next to it. They feel heavier than the Blacks because even though the actuation force is a little lighter with the Clear spring, they have a heavier bottom out weight. Since I've never been good at floating the keys, the Ghost Blacks/Reds feel heavier than normal Blacks.better see this http://imgur.com/a/RJqM4
We should organize a group buy on super stiff springs!
I had never organized a group buy before and don't know where to find appropriate manufacturer, but I will glad to help organizing one!I was joking. I have absolutely no idea how to organize one.

The Blacks and Clears have different numbers of coils. And as someone who owns Blacks, Clears, Ergo Clears, and a keyboard with Blacks/Reds with Clear springs, I think I can say with authority that the Clear spring is heavier than Black.Yes,they are almost near but Tactile heavier than Linear
Personally I just can not deal with the heavy , stiff switches. They literally hurt my fingers. I am also a fairly light typer and I think that over the years, I am just starting to type lighter and lighter.
My first mechanical keyboard was the Steelseries 7G, and although I like how it felt, in the end it was just too stiff and rigid for me. After using almost exclusively 45g switches since then, it might feel even worse now. I remember that it felt especially bad for my pinkies whenever I spent a lot of time typing with few breaks.
main problem with stiff switch is that most keyboards are NOT stiff when we're growing up, so most people's typing technique is NOT adapted to stiff switches.good quotes :thumb:
Fro stiff switches, you need Quick attack and release. This way your fingers will not tire, it's like typewriters and pianos.
for softer switches you have lots of "mush-room" because you can just meander through the keys.
If you try to mush down a stiff switch without quick-attack, you will tire your fingers pretty quickly.

for a while 4 months or so, ergo clears, because they were all the RAGE.
I've swapped back to stock clears :D
In order to train my fingers properly for the two Model M's I have incoming, I'm using a Ducky Pro with MX Greys at work.
(Attachment Link)
I also use a military surplus Marquardt keyboard, the weight keeps people from borrowing it off my desk.

How are greys compare to greens?

How are you liking the greys?
How would you rate them versus clears, besides one being linear and one tactile ?

sorry but thanks
I'd like to try some of the stiffer switches in the future, and I do plan on eventually buying a MX Green board (because I like MX Blue so much). So far I've only used MX Red, Brown, and Blue.
It's actually a Ducky with MX Dark Greys, the linear version. I got it from MK.com;it's real :p

that's is syml board :p soon......
I think Clears are my favorite switch. I make the least amount of mistakes on it and the noise level is acceptable in most settings.Sorry buddy, but clears not stiff ;)
I use car suspension springs under my keys. Also, they are buckling spring switches.
