Lusting over the Korean keyboards. There is a KMAC LE, KMAC 1.2, and an LZ-MX mini. Which would you rather buy and why? I'm leaning toward the LZ-MX mini but if there was a KMAC mini floating around I might change my mind. Opinions please?
-
Doesn't matter, you will end up buying them all. ;)
-
there are not only kmacs and lz-mx out there :D
you have the cheat, koala, lz series, kingsaver, 356, 456, 356mini, 2tu ...
But out of all customs I'd mostly like to have 456gt :D
-
Yeahh, yhou will buy them all, so whjich will be the fihrst doesn't matteh at allh.
If you can't decide which, let the coins help.

No matter which keyboard apparently I can't type worth a flip!!!

Every keyboard he listed makes (almost) every topre look cheap. I don't think money is the reason he's getting a cherry.

cherry makes a keyboard feel cheap :P realforce keyboards are housed in plastic but they feel very sturdy. heck, the standard of sturdiness is an IBM model M and those can be had for $20.
hhkb with a plastic case might not feel as heavy as a metal plate keyboard but it still feels solid and works fine.
that said the 356mini with cherry doubleshots is pretty sleek :)

>plastic case
>sturdy
Now a model f, beam spring, or old hall effect board is the definition of a sturdy keyboard.

Do you actually live in the city limits of Cincinnati ninjadoc? If you want, we can meet up and you can try my KMAC. I actually have a ton of boards if you wanted to talk shop/try boards. PM me if you don't want your info public.

Hey, CPT. Make sure to bring that thing... I've never actually ever typed on a KMAC...
-
Why? So you can mock the lack of MY switches in it?
-
I'm going to

Yes I actually live on the east side. I will give you my cell and text or call me sometime. I really want to see the KMAC. I'm too ignorant on some of these boards and already have spent too much money.
