Title: Which would you buy?
Post by: ninjadoc on Sun, 21 July 2013, 17:41:41
Lusting over the Korean keyboards. There is a KMAC LE, KMAC 1.2, and an LZ-MX mini. Which would you rather buy and why? I'm leaning toward the LZ-MX mini but if there was a KMAC mini floating around I might change my mind. Opinions please?

there are not only kmacs and lz-mx out there :D
you have the cheat, koala, lz series, kingsaver, 356, 456, 356mini, 2tu ...
But out of all customs I'd mostly like to have 456gt :D

Every keyboard he listed makes (almost) every topre look cheap. I don't think money is the reason he's getting a cherry.

cherry makes a keyboard feel cheap :P realforce keyboards are housed in plastic but they feel very sturdy. heck, the standard of sturdiness is an IBM model M and those can be had for $20.
hhkb with a plastic case might not feel as heavy as a metal plate keyboard but it still feels solid and works fine.
that said the 356mini with cherry doubleshots is pretty sleek :)

>plastic case
>sturdy

Now a model f, beam spring, or old hall effect board is the definition of a sturdy keyboard.

Yes I actually live on the east side. I will give you my cell and text or call me sometime. I really want to see the KMAC. I'm too ignorant on some of these boards and already have spent too much money.
