Whats the difference between those 2 except for the handrest

1) well for beginners layout of keys -> for me it was huge issue couldn't stand 6gb2 layout. 7G is more usefull with that:P.
2) 7g comes with standard wrist rest which is plastic and not that good in touch -> again for me.
3) 7g= usb pass but very slow + jacks for speakers/headp.
4) main difference 6g comes with blacks and sometimes with red cherry mx, 7 g i saw only with blacks.

Layout: Shift, Backspace and backslash. 7G has an USB hub and some other stuff like that as well.

Buy a CM Storm Quickfire Rapid with black switches instead.

Man I thought 6GV2 had a messed up layout, then when I see 7G I was like whattttttttttt ?!?!?!?!  Whyyyyy ?!?!?!?!?

In any case, if you want black switch for cheap I'd say go for Thermaltake MEKA G1.  Seems to be on sale a lot.
